relationship we have. Lots of communication, and so many laughs in front of my monitor that I could never count. I once went for a stretch without posting, and Drowsey Emailed me to see if I was OK. That's a personal event to share with everyone, but I think it fits in here to help explain what kind of person she is.
The first time I was at her blog, I noticed a picture of a man's face camouflaged behind coffee beans. Well, it was hidden so well I couldn't find it. She told me were it was, and I used it on my blog too. We linked back and forth, and I have been a big fan ever since.
I love the Drowsey Monkey Blog because it always has posts that are easily commented on. You will find slices of life, oddities here on planet Earth, humor, and personal insight. Comments always get a response, so it is really like a gathering place for people all across the globe.
There are some bloggers that are just different - special diamonds that sparkle brighter than others. I have never met Drowsey, but she is like a friend to me. She claims to NOT be a "hugger", but I would give her a big ol` Hollydale bear hug if given the chance.
What is all this fanfare over? Well, besides being one of my favorite spots on the net, Drowsey will be celebrating her one year Blogoversary today (August 2).
One year around the sun, and 28,000 page loads.
Congratulations Drowsey, I will be around for the next year, and however long you still publish at your blog.
